Penelope's First Birthday

Sweet Penelope Maddox turned one this weekend. Her parents threw a lovely party for her. I'm so glad Darin and I were there to celebrate.

Date Night

Darin and I had a lovely time going out for a real date Friday night. I wore real shoes and everything! (I am grateful for not having cankles, yet. Mom, I'll explain what those are later.) Anyway, here I am at almost 33 weeks (out of 40, for you folks out of the pregnancy loop).

Baby's Room

Here it is, the (almost) finished project. All we need now is a baby changing table and a baby. Note the little chair in the corner behind the crib. We'll only use this if the baby needs a time out. HA!

Baby Clothes

We've been working on D'boy's clothing collection. You can't really tell from the photograph how tiny all these things are! Tiny jean jacket and sweater vest and itty bitty cargo shorts. It is so adorable to look into his closet from time to time. It makes me so excited to meet him. And of course, all his shirts and jackets are facing the same direction, just like Papa's closet.
