L and H had fun hanging with Strother this afternoon. Can you believe John Hilton is almost a month younger than Strother? He's HUGE! Don't worry Stro is not intimidated. He's more worried about Elle picking him up. She's strong!

First Video Post
OK, so we need more light, but here's a glimpse into our lives. We sit around playing guitar and letting our kid hang out nekid. It's a good life. I'll work on my lighting skills soon too.
5 months old
Strother turned five months on March 8th. He's growing like a weed. He is turning from his tummy to his back. Hasn't quite figure out back to tummy, but he's close. He says "Mamamamama" all day long. (Music to my ears.)
He's been eating bananas, pears, rice ceral, oatmeal cereal, apples and sweet potatoes. He hates peaches and carrots, but we'll keep trying.
He's a real pleasure to hang out with.
We went to the Fort Worth Water Gardens with his pal Beckett and dad Christian. They are a great pair of guys to know.
Strother welcomed his newest friend into the world Henrietta. She's a doll.
What else? Just enjoying this adventure called parenting.

Must Post
A few milestones this week for Stro Man... He rolled over last Monday (February 26th). He was hanging out on his stomach -- or more accurately, fussing and fuming on his stomach, when he pushed himself to the side and flipped over. He was so mad for being on his stomach in the first place that he failed to see why I was cheering him on. This kid is not a belly guy, but we're working on it. So for the most part, I think the roll over was a fluke for now. He'll need more strength and stamina on his belly before that happens again.
Saturday we mushed some bananas in a bowl for the boy. He ate them like I eat Death by Chocolate custard. Ravenously. So we've continued that trend both Sunday and today. I added some baby oatmeal cereal today. He wasn't the biggest fan of it, until I mixed it with the bananas. Wo, he went for it then. I wanted to wait until he was six month before I gave him any solids, but the kid just looked hungry. It hasn't helped him sleep through the night yet, but I've got high hopes. I imagine all these extra calories will do something in the way of weight gain though.
I'm terrible about entering this stuff into his baby book. Maybe one day I'll publish this blog and put a copy of it into the book. By the time he grows up and is interested it in anyway, the baby book idea will probably be obsolete having been replaced by online diaries and digital memoirs. (Yes son, we once had to know how to use cursive!)
