Customer Service Complaint

Recently, it seems Darin and I have had a spate of customer service issues. Verizon dropped Darin's telephone number of twelve years after he tried to add me to their family plan. The compensation for the trouble? A late charge on our bill. AOL kept me on hold for 1 hour and 10 minutes just trying to cancel the freaking service. They offered to cut my monthly bill by 70% instead of leaving. Why wouldn't they offer that rate in the first place? Crazy. Charter Cable had me on the phone a few weeks ago literally crying (sobbing indeed) for help with my cable modem. Probably pregancy hormones, but a pain nonetheless. I found a video from an article in the New York Times that seems to sum it up. What ever happened to customer service?

I skipped the Ninja Blaster myself this weekend, but Darin was a brave man and did the slolom for us all. He's such a natural athlete.

The stripes are up! We'll be out of town this weekend, so hopefully we can start painting the baby's furniture next weekend.

I'm so happy with the outcome of the room. It's colorful, playful, even a bit artistic. Good job Darin!
